Caesarstone Bathroom Remodeling: The Miami Owner’s Guide
Bathroom remodeling around Caesarstone surfaces in Miami typically runs $10,620 to $33,040, depending on the size of the room, the condition of the substrate, and how much custom fabrication the stone requires. Most owners call us when their Caesarstone vanity top has cracked at a sink cutout, delaminated at a seam, or the cabinetry underneath has begun to fail from Miami’s humidity. The good news is we work with Caesarstone every week, we know how the material behaves in this climate, and we can usually fabricate and install a replacement top within two to three weeks of your written estimate.
Here’s the honest part. Caesarstone is an engineered quartz product, which means it resists staining better than marble and handles moisture better than granite. But it is not invincible in a bathroom. Heat from a curling iron left on the counter, a cracked seam from a settling vanity, or years of hard water sitting at the faucet deck can cause failures that a homeowner should not try to fix with epoxy from a big box store. When we walk into a Miami bathroom for a Caesarstone job, the first thing we do is check what is underneath the stone, because in this city the substrate fails just as often as the surface.
Give you a number first, then pick up the tools. That is how Trevor Nash runs every Caesarstone bathroom remodel in Miami, and it is the same way we will handle yours.
Which Caesarstone Models This Applies To

Caesarstone makes dozens of surface colors across its Classic, Supernatural, and Outdoor collections, and most bathroom vanities use 2 cm (about 3/4 inch) or 3 cm (about 1 1/4 inch) slabs. The 3 cm thickness has become the standard for bathroom vanity tops because it does not need a plywood underlayment, while 2 cm typically gets laminated edges to give the illusion of a thicker stone. If you are matching an existing Caesarstone color, the model number is usually printed on the underside of the slab or included on a small sticker near the sink cutout if the top was installed by the original fabricator.
One compatibility gotcha we run into in Miami all the time: homeowners assume any white Caesarstone will match the white they already have. It will not. Caesarstone’s Frosty Carrina, London Grey, Pure White, and Empira White are completely different tones, and if your vanity is part of a larger bathroom with matching shower curbs or backsplash pieces, sourcing the wrong white will be visible from across the room. We keep a physical sample library from Caesarstone, Silestone, and Cambria in our Miami shop, so we can match a chip against your existing stone before you spend a dollar. We are an independent remodeler, not affiliated with Caesarstone, but we order directly from authorized fabricators and verify every slab’s lot number before cutting.

Signs Your Caesarstone Bathroom Remodeling Is Failing
- Cracked sink cutout. The front and back rails of a vanity top are narrow, and if the cabinet underneath settles even a quarter inch, that stress concentrates right at the sink cutout corners. We see this most often in Miami homes with wood-framed floors over crawl spaces or older slab-on-grade foundations that have shifted.
- Opening seam between slabs. Bathroom vanity tops are sometimes fabricated in two pieces to fit a long double-sink run. If the installer used a cheap polyester adhesive instead of a proper quartz seam adhesive, the joint will open within a few years of Miami’s humidity cycles.
- Chalky or etched surface around the faucet. Caesarstone is resin-bound, and harsh chemical cleaners slowly break down the resin at the surface. The stone starts to feel rough or look cloudy near water fixtures first.
- Loose or cracked backsplash. A Caesarstone backsplash is only as strong as the adhesive behind it. In humid Miami bathrooms, mastic adhesive can soften and release, leaving the backsplash bowing off the wall.
- Water staining under the counter. If the caulk joint where the Caesarstone meets the sink or the wall fails, water seeps under the stone. You will notice dark discoloration on the cabinet face or a musty smell before you ever see the leak.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

A Caesarstone bathroom remodeling project in Miami runs $10,620 to $33,040 for a full bathroom, but a direct vanity top replacement is a more contained job. If you are swapping just the Caesarstone surface, expect to pay $2,360 to $7,670 installed, which includes the new 3 cm slab, fabrication with sink cutouts and edge profiles, removal of the old top, and installation on your existing cabinetry. If the vanity cabinet itself needs replacement, that adds another $945 to $3,540 for the cabinet and any plumbing adjustments.
What drives the cost up or down: the Caesarstone color you choose (standard colors cost less than the Supernatural series), the edge profile (eased edges are standard, mitered and waterfall edges add labor), whether you have a single sink or a double sink cutout, and whether the old vanity has water damage that needs framing repair before the new stone goes on. Every Caesarstone job we quote in Miami gets a written price before any work starts, and the number on day one is the number on the invoice. Our 365-Day Done Right Promise covers the installation in writing: if the seams open or the stone shifts within a year, we come back and fix it at no charge.
DIY or Call Us?
Caesarstone is heavy. A 3 cm slab for a 60-inch double vanity weighs well over 200 pounds before the sink cutouts are made. The safest thing a homeowner can check on their own is the caulk joint: look for gaps between the stone and the sink, the stone and the wall, and the stone and the cabinet. If you see separation, dry the area thoroughly and stop using the sink until it can be repaired. That costs nothing and usually prevents the cabinet from rotting.
What we do not recommend is trying to remove or re-set a Caesarstone top yourself. The stone is rigid, but it can crack under its own weight if it is tilted or lifted unevenly, and a cracked slab cannot be invisibly repaired. We have also walked into enough Miami bathrooms where a homeowner tried to glue a seam back together with clear epoxy, and the result looks like a bad taxidermy repair. If the piece is cracked, call us at (850) 988-7559. We will bring the samples, measure the top, and give you a written price for the replacement before anything gets ordered.
FAQs

A properly installed Caesarstone vanity top should last 25 years or more, but Miami’s humidity means the caulk joints, cabinet beneath it, and plumbing connections will typically need attention every 5 to 8 years. If the cabinet fails, the stone often gets damaged during the repair, which is why we inspect the substrate before we touch the stone.
Yes, but only when the crack sits in a low-stress area and the slab is stable. At a sink cutout corner, where most bathroom failures occur, a repair will stay visible and will likely re-crack within months. We will give you an honest recommendation when we see the crack in person. Call (850) 988-7559 and we will look at it during a free estimate visit.
From the day we template the top to the day it is installed is usually 2 to 3 weeks. The fabrication takes the most time, and custom edge profiles or sink cutouts add a few days. The installation itself is typically a single day, including removing the old top, setting the new one, and sealing all the joints.
We keep physical Caesarstone sample chips in our Miami shop for color matching, but slabs are ordered per job from authorized fabricators to ensure you get the exact color and lot you approved. We also stock and install Silestone, Cambria, and KraftMaid cabinetry for complete bathroom remodels. Give us your existing color name or a photo, and we will start matching it before our first visit.
