Cambridge Pavers Fence Installation: The Miami Owner’s Guide
Cambridge Pavers fence installation in Miami typically runs $4,130 – $10,620, depending on linear footage, post depth, and whether we’re replacing failed posts or installing a full perimeter. Most jobs are completed in two to three working days once materials land. The usual story we hear starts with a gate that suddenly sags, a post that leans after a hard rain, or a section of fence that pulled loose during a storm. The fix almost always comes down to what’s underground, not what’s above it.
We’re Penhallow Remodeling Miami, an independent service provider. We’re not affiliated with Cambridge Pavers, but we’ve been installing and repairing their fencing products throughout Miami for years, and we stock the posts, panels, and hardware that match their systems. That means no three-week wait on a specialty order and no guesswork on dimensions.
Which Cambridge Pavers Models This Applies To

Cambridge Pavers doesn’t sell fence panels as a single product. Their fence system uses their concrete wall blocks and posts, which means installation is really about matching the paver line you already have. The two most common lines we see in Miami are the RoundTable and Ledgestone series. Both use the same post dimensions, but the Ledgestone units are 3/4 inch thicker, which matters if you’re replacing one post in an existing run. You can’t drop a RoundTable post next to Ledgestone blocks and get a clean seam.
Here’s the compatibility gotcha that catches people: Cambridge posts are hollow and take a 4×4 pressure-treated core or a steel post insert. The block is a sleeve, not a structural post. If the core rotted or the steel corroded, the block usually survives. We see that a lot in Miami, especially in Coconut Grove where older homes sit lower and water hangs around longer after a heavy rain. So before you pay for new block work, we check the core first. If you’re sourcing parts yourself, look for the Cambridge stamp molded into the bottom of the block. That stamp tells us the series, plant location, and batch, which matters when we’re matching color on a repair that’s more than a couple years old.
On OEM versus aftermarket: for the concrete blocks themselves, stay OEM. Aftermarket copies don’t have the same aggregate density, and in Miami’s wet season they can spall within two years. For the cores and post caps, a quality aftermarket equivalent is fine, and we stock those on the truck. We also carry KraftMaid, Cambria, and Silestone parts for our cabinet and countertop clients, but this page is all about your Cambridge fence.

Signs Your Cambridge Pavers Fence Installation Is Failing
- Post leaning at the base. This is almost always a failed core or a post hole that wasn’t filled with concrete in the first place. In Miami, we also see sandy soil wash out under shallow footers after a few hard rainy seasons.
- Gate dragging or refusing to latch. The hinges have pulled loose from the concrete post face. Cambridge blocks don’t hold standard wood screws well long-term without sleeve anchors, and once they start to strip, the gate drops fast.
- Horizontal cracks in the middle of a post. Water got inside the hollow core, the wood swelled, and the block cracked from pressure. That’s the Miami humidity doing exactly what you’d expect.
- Sections separating at the seams. The fence was installed without enough of a footer, and the whole run is settling unevenly. You’ll see this most often in newer developments where the ground hasn’t finished compacting.
- Efflorescence or spalling on the block face. That white powdery film or flaking surface means water is moving through the concrete. It’s common with paver products in Miami, but if it’s paired with any of the other signs, the post is probably past saving.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

For Miami homeowners, Cambridge Pavers fence replacement or new installation runs $4,130 – $10,620. The biggest driver is linear footage. A 50-foot run with three posts is a far simpler job than a 150-foot run with a gate and two corners. Post depth matters too. Miami-Dade code wants fence posts a minimum of 24 inches below grade, and if we hit rock or old concrete, the digging gets slower and the price moves up. Material choice on the core, steel versus pressure-treated wood, also shifts the number by a few hundred dollars.
Every fence quote from us is a written price before any work starts, not an estimate range and not a verbal ballpark. The number on day one is the number on the invoice. That quote includes the blocks or panels, post cores, concrete footers, hardware, removal and haul-away of the old fence, and a written 365-Day Done Right Promise. If the work fails inside that guarantee period, we come back and fix it at no charge. That’s covered in writing.
Quick cost reference for the Miami market:
- Full Cambridge fence installation: $4,130 – $10,620
- Single post replacement: $295 – $825
- Gate re-hang with new hardware: $190 – $470
- Full fence tear-out and disposal: $590 – $1,180
DIY or Call Us?
Installing a Cambridge Pavers fence is not a high-tension job, but it is a heavy-lifting job. Those concrete blocks weigh 40 to 60 pounds each, and wrestling one onto a post core while keeping it level is a two-person task. If you want to save money, the honest place to do it is the demo. You can pull down the old panels and stack the blocks for us to haul. That takes an afternoon and saves you a couple hundred dollars.
Where DIY goes wrong is the footing. A fence post in Miami needs to go 24 inches down and sit in a poured concrete footer, and if it’s not done right, you’ll own the same leaning fence in two years. If you decide it’s not worth your Saturday, call (850) 988-7559 and we’ll give you a number first, then pick up the tools. That’s how Trevor Nash runs every job at Penhallow Remodeling Miami, including yours.
